Sacramento Kings point guard Rajon Rondo is continuing to reestablish himself as one of the top point guards in the NBA, one game at a time. Rondo’s one year deal with the Kings was viewed by many to be a reclamation project for his image and once he hits the free agency market this summer, he can cash in on the loads of money expected to be thrown around.
It’s been an up and down year for the point guard but his play on the court has been solid.
The Kings visited their interstate rivals in the Los Angeles Lakers and they were led by DeMarcus Cousins who had a huge 36 point, 16 rebound night for Sacramento but it was Rondo who made the best play of the night.
Rondo scored 11 points, handed out 17 assists on the night (the same amount as the ENTIRE Lakers team) but his big highlight came with a dunk. He he put down a huge slam in the Kings win when he drove right at Lakers forward Ryan Kelly and put him on a poster. This isn’t the first time this season we saw Rondo throw down a nasty slam.
