The Detroit Pistons are off to a hot start in the 2015-16 season. Currently standing at 5-1, the Pistons have been one of the pleasant surprises to start the season. Some people expected this, others aren’t as shocked but many are wondering where this terrific play came from.
This team is built and will be built for the foreseeable future around their big man, Andre Drummond. Last night, Drummond recorded his third career 20-20 game when he scored 29 points and grabbed 27 rebounds in the Pistons win over the Blazers.
The entire victory can’t be credited to Drummond though. He has a potential All-Star point guard playing with him in Reggie Jackson, who had a fantastic night in his own right. Jackson scored 40 points on the night on 15-26 shooting including 3-3 from three and 7-8 from the free throw line. Reggie also grabbed five rebounds and handed out five assists in the Pistons comeback win over the Blazers which saw the Pistons outscore the Blazers 41-11 in the fourth quarter alone.
