Paul Pierce may no longer have the speed or agility he once had, but he sure is able to finish around the rim whenever he takes it to the basket. The Truth has continuously done everything he could to help the Wizards win games so far this postseason, and nothing seems to be able to stop him. Whether it’s the fans booing him, cheering him when he fouls somebody, or the trash talking by the other team, Pierce does not seem to be phased at all by the noise.
Pierce went to the basket and made sure he was going to finish even with multiple defenders surrounding him ready to contest the shot. He managed to dip the shoulder a bit and free himself of Al Horford while also avoiding Paul Millsap. The easy baskets make the thee-point shots even more wide open for the Wizards to be able to knock down to take control of games.
