The number one seed in the Eastern Conference, the Atlanta Hawks, are in the middle of a tight series with the eighth seeded Brooklyn Nets. In this series you would expect the Hawks, who have been on a historic path all season, to just make easy work of the Nets.
That’s until you notice the major size difference between the teams. Particularly when it comes to the pair of 7-footers that the Nets have in Brook Lopez and Mason Plumlee.
One of those 7-footers, the young and athletic Plumlee, like to make a big play from time to time.
It was no different in the first half of the teams game 2 matchup when Plumlee defended a DeMarre Carroll layup the only way he knew how. Pinning that sucker right against the glass for a huge block.
The Nets might not be winning, but it’s not like they’re not trying.
