The final full week of the NBA season is usually the time when teams finalize their playoff – or lottery – standings. By the week’s end, we had over half of the playoff spots officially filled with only the bottom seeds in each conference up for grabs.
As the team’s jockey for position, players are also battling for some accolades of their own. Most notable is, of course, the NBA MVP race which seems to be down to a two-man battle between Russell Westbrook and James Harden. But there are other players battling for All-NBA honors, Most Improved Player and even Rookie of the Year. The competition might be coming to an end, but the effort is still at an all-time high.
This past week we had Damian Lillard explode for 59 points, Russell Westbrook continued to break triple-double records, the Warriors are steamrolling through the NBA as Kevin Durant returns and LeBron James tried to keep his kingdom from collapsing.
Enjoy the NBA top plays of the week mixtape from our partners at Brotherhood Studios. Be sure to give them a follow on Twitter and also check out their YouTube page too, full of more dope mixes.
But the week that was wouldn’t be complete without a countdown of the top plays on the stage of national television. We usually get the best of the best on ESPN, TNT and NBATV every week so with the help of this great app, Clippit, you too can capture your favorite highlights in an instant.
