Myles Turner is a freak athlete, and freak athletes at the center position are typically very good shot blockers. That is true when it comes to Turner, and he showed us his ability to block shots tonight.
During the second quarter of the Indiana Pacers match up with the Los Angeles Lakers, Tarik Black made the worst decision of his life. He received a pass from Lou Williams, drove to the basket, and met a brick wall named Myles Turner. Turner swatted Black’s dunk attempt, grabbing the ball from Black and quickly passing it off before he fell out of bounds. It was one of the most impressive blocks I have ever seen, and I don’t think we will ever see one like this the rest of the season.
