Back in the day, when the NBA was grainy and life was easy there was one kid living the dream. Stephen Curry, like a few other NBA kids, was fully involved with his Dad’s team. In this case, it was the 1992 Charlotte Hornets that were both fun to watch and had some big names on it. Muggsy Bogues was the point guard, Kendall Gill started at shooting guard, Larry Johnson was the starting power forward and Alonzo Mourning was the man in the middle starting at center. Their sixth man coming off the bench was Dell Curry and along with Dell came his oldest son, Stephen.
Stephen has been documented previously talking about his past with his Dad in the NBA. In this video we see Steph and one of his favorite players growing up having some fun. Muggsy Bogues takes Steph on an ‘airplane ride’ right over to his dad in the locker room.
Who knew over 20 years later, that would be an amazing video to watch and see how much some of the players enjoyed the young Curry, just as much as we enjoy him right now.
