Milwaukee Bucks have unveiled their new logo for all the world to enjoy. It’s been teased for about 2 weeks now and finally during halftime of their game against the Philadelphia 76ers, the franchise released their new logo. While Giannis Antetokounmpo was in Philadelphia throwing down a huge slam on the 76ers, the fans back in Milwaukee patiently waited for their news. The new color scheme and logo comes with some explanations as well that the Bucks laid out for us on their twitter account.
The 3 new logos include a new look at the ‘Buck’ itself, trying to continue to have people ‘fear the deer’. They also have an awesome secondary logo that’s very simple and great to look at. Their third design is a little different but it speaks to what the Bucks represent and that is Milwaukee and the great state of Wisconsin.
Franchise legend Oscar Robertson and injured member of the team, Jabari Parker, spoke to the fans for a little bit after a trio of artists drew the new logos for everyone in attendance to see and take pictures of. The anticipation grew as a duo danced and sang some hits to keep the audience entertained until the artists were done painting their renditions of the logo.
The team won’t just stop with new colors and logos. There will also be new jerseys that are scheduled to be released this summer in anticipation for next season, which could bring some excitement to fans that enjoy themselves some Milwaukee basketball.
Check it out.
