Marshawn Lynch and Colin Kaepernick were rivals on the football field for years. Lynch was the lead back for the Seattle Seahawks and Kaepernick was the quarterback for the 49ers. Division rivals who went at it for the early part of this past decade.
Lynch is now retired and Kaepernick is a backup for the Niners. Times have changed for not only these two men but for everyone around the country. Kaepernick has been at the forefront of NFL players taking a stand against racial injustices across the country. He’s faced scrutiny, criticism and controversy for his actions but he’s kneeled strong.
Marshawn has been doing a lot since he retired. Just a few days after his documented trek in the wilderness debuted he was on ‘Conan’ and talked about Colin’s protest. He applauds what Colin is doing and supports him all the way.
