The Cleveland Cavaliers needed an extra boost into another stratosphere to steal at least one game in the 2017 NBA Finals. In game four at home, the Cavs used some knockdown shooting to deliver a big victory and one of the driving forces was LeBron James. The former NBA MVP and NBA Finals MVP elevated his game to another level on Friday night and led his team to a big victory.
Hidden behind the Cavs big shooting night, and some drama between the teams, was LeBron James’ historic NBA Finals triple-double. The King recorded his ninth career NBA Finals triple-double passing Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson for the most in NBA Finals history. He also passed Michael Jordan to move into the third spot on the NBA Finals All-Time scoring list.
As soon as James passed Johnson, Magic sent out a tweet congratulating the biggest NBA star in the game today.
Congratulations to Lebron James for becoming the King of Triple Doubles for the NBA Finals with 9 and breaking my record.
