LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers came into Los Angeles and ended their 6 game losing streak by defeating the Lakers and Kobe Bryant.
The game was relatively close throughout and in the middle of the second quarter, Kyrie Irving and LeBron James were running the fast break when the video above happened.
LeBron went to throw down the big alley-oop slam, but he came up short. Kyrie even thought it was a done deal because you can see him celebrating as they run down the court. He holds up his hand in the air trying to get some recognition from the pass and it ended up that LeBron blew the dunk. No one seems to notice that part of Kyrie celebrating and then realizing LeBron missed and quickly pulling down his hand.
LeBron missing a dunk is the actual story here. The part where LeBron runs down court and sees a laughing Kobe Bryant is the best part. While LeBron and Kobe were talking all game about their age and how old they’re getting, it seemed like Kobe Bryant had a little laugh at LeBron’s expense.
At the end of the day though, LeBron James had the last laugh when the Cavaliers came out with a win. Tonight, they continue their Staples Center tour when they take on Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and the new look Los Angeles Clippers.
