‘The King’, LeBron James came to play early on for the Cleveland Cavaliers as they took on the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals. LeBron James scored 31 points through three quarters, which is the most entering the fourth quarter since Kobe Bryant scored 36 in three quarters in 2009.
LeBron James finished the night with 44 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists but it wasn’t enough, especially when it mattered most. James made only one shot out of his last 8 attempts and the shot was an easy layup late in overtime.
It was a historic game for LeBron James as he did score his career-high in the NBA Finals and he also dropped his season-high in scoring with 44. Oddly enough, his previous season-high was 42 points against the Golden State Warriors earlier this season.
