LeBron James came into the season-opening matchup with the Chicago Bulls very excited thanks to a special guest in attendance at the game. President Barack Obama took in the Cleveland Cavaliers matchup with the Bulls and LeBron aimed to not disappoint the commander-in-chief.
‘The King’ put on a show for the POTUS when he dropped 25 points, 10 rebounds and handed out five assists on the night. LeBron also started the game off strong when Mo Williams found him for a big fast break slam to get the Cavs offense rolling.
As the game went on, it appeared the Bulls would be stretching their lead to almost 20 points but LeBron rallied his team and they got Chicago’s lead down to two with 10 seconds to go. The ball was in LeBron’s hands, just as you’d expect it to be, but he came up short after a fantastic block from Pau Gasol.
