Technically, the Los Angeles Clippers hosted the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night. So technically, Lance Stephenson put down a nasty slam in the Clippers home win against the Lakers in front of his home fans.
Clippers versus Lakers is usually a fun game to watch and while Blake Griffin remains out with quite possibly one of the dumbest injuries in recent memory, all eyes were on DeAndre Jordan and his dunking abilities against the shaky Lakers defense. Yet it was Lance Stephenson who had the big jam in the game.
Lance was ‘Born Ready’ when he received a passed from Chris Paul in transition late in the Clippers win over the Lakers and he went right into the lane with no remorse. Admit it, you would expect Lance to somehow mess this up but almost shockingly, he didn’t. He actually put down a monster slam over young Lakers forward Julius Randle. In the words of Clippers broadcaster Ralph Lawler, oh me oh my.
(P.S., check out DeAndre Jordan’s reaction after the dunk. Priceless.)
