There’s no secret about it, Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving has a super close relationship with his father Drederick. The NBA champion guard and his sister Asia grew up in a single-parent home in West Orange, New Jersey after Irving’s mother passed away when Kyrie was only four years old. After success at Boston University, Drederick went on to play in Australia and found success with the Bulleen Boomers before giving up his career to raise his kids in the United States.
Kyrie has found much success in the NBA and now he’s looking to give back to the man who raised him. With the help of the services at Houzz, Irving was able to find a designer and picked out all of the materials he wanted in the renovation. Kyrie picked out the fixtures and his sister Asia oversaw the progress of the renovation of the kitchen, dining room, living room and the special trophy room. The three shared a wonderful moment when Asia’s surprise was finally revealed at the end of the episode.
