Tyronn Lue and Greg Popovich are supposed to be the coaches of the 2016 NBA All-Star Game, but during timeouts, their point guards Kyle Lowry and Russell Westbrook were the ones creating the plays. Clearly these two have taken big time leadership roles for their conferences’ all-star team, and maybe they should just take the role of player coaches for next years game.
Westbrook’s play was a back door pass play, and Lowry drew up a play where he has the ball, gets it to DeMar DeRozan who gets the ball to Dwyane Wade for an isolation play on the baseline.
