New York Knicks star rookie Kristaps Porzingis showed out on the main stage this season to represent his country of Latvia and the World Team in the 2016 BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge.
Porzingis put down some nasty slams in his 27 minutes of action for the World Team. KP scored 30 points on 12-16 shooting including going 5-8 from the three-point line while grabbing five rebounds and handing out four assists. Team World lost to Team USA, 157-154 and to make matters worse, Porzingis got dunked on at the end of the game by Milwaukee Bucks young stud, Jabari Parker.

Kristaps came up just short of the Rising Stars Challenge MVP, which went to Zach LaVine, by a 4-3 vote differential.
So Zach LaVine edged out Kristaps Porzingis for #BBVARISINGSTARS MVP by 1 vote!
