During a scrimmage Kobe Bryant went Willem Defoe in Platoon on his Laker teammates. ESPN reports that Bryant went at Jeremy Lin with classic shit-talk, “This motherfucker don’t got shit. He ain’t got shit right now. Shoot! Shoot!” After Lin missed a pull-up jumper, Bryant said, “I talked his ass right into that bullshit. I talked his ass right into that bullshit.”
Check out Nick Young jawing back at the future Hall Of Famer, it’s great.
And here is Kobe ethering his teammates whilst walking off the court.
Is there anything wrong with this? Nope. It’s all part of the game, plus, this goes on during practice scrimmages all the time. At times more or less depending on the player. We all know media outlets are probably going to crucify Bryant, but it is what it is.
