Kobe Bryant is back out of retirement. He’s not shooting 60 points or hitting game winning shots over the Utah Jazz but he made his first television appearance, since his retirement, on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Long time Laker and basketball icon Bryant made his way on to the show when he was involved in a hilarious hidden camera prank on an unsuspecting doctor.
The doctor walks into the room and Kobe Bryant gets directions from Ellen DeGeneres on what to do, check out the video from USA Weekly:
Bryant is showing his lighter and funnier side, something that we’ve seen in Kobe this past year, even in the regular season. We saw him laughing on the bench with teammates, fans and other players, a Kobe Bryant that seemed at rest with his decision. Even though he might be having a little bit more perspiration problems, Bryant isn’t sweating his decision to hang it up. There has been rumors that Bryant might join the TNT cast with Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith, but there’s no word yet if that’s true. So what’s next for Bryant? Will he get involved in the NBA once again, some how? One thing we do hope is that Mamba is enjoying his retirement to his fullest ability, he deserves it.
