Coming into the Tuesday night matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers, all eyes were on Indiana as this was picked by some to be an upset special.
The Pacers hosted the Warriors and of course all eyes were on Stephen Curry but what the Pacers should have done was pay attention to Klay Thompson.
Although Klay left the game late with an ankle injury, his first half was killer. He drilled eight three’s in the first half alone and the game was out of reach until a late Pacers surge forced the Dubs to put the starters back in, which led to Thompson’s injury.
At the end of the day, the Warriors pulled off the road win and they were led by Thompson who dropped 39 points. Klay played 34 minutes, shot 13-21 from the field including 10-21 from three and he also grabbed seven rebounds and handed out six assists.
