It’s like 2004 again in Minnesota. Kevin Garnett is back with the Timberwolves and Tori Hunter is back with the Twins.
What a moment Minnesota fans had tonight at the Twins home opener with The Big Ticket throwing out the ceremonial first pitch to Hunter, with some help from a Minnesota native.
Garnett brought out The Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four, Tyus Jones, to deliver the ball. Unlike what we have seen recently with celebrity first pitches, like 50 Cent or Tom Brady, Garnett threw a strike. Now it was a meatball that would have hit 500 feet if there was a hitter at the plate, but it was a strike, so we’ll give him credit for that.
