Earlier today, Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant underwent a successful bone graft procedure on his foot. He posted a thank you to his fans and everyone in the NBA family, including his teammates.
This video, narrated by the rapper Wale, comes to us from Revolt TV and gives us a chance to understand Durant and where he’s coming from. His beginnings as a young man all the way to recent issues in his career. It gives us a look at his ups and downs along with some cool looks at Durant’s lifestyle in Oklahoma City.
Kevin Durant and his brother gives us a tour of his crazy 4 story house full with a recording studio, gym, movie theatre and more. He’s living the life in Oklahoma but he does say he likes it out there and quite possibly shooting down any rumors of his interest in leaving the Thunder.
Kevin goes in depth with talking about his highest and lowest points of his career overall from his trip to the finals and even the early struggles he had in Seattle. KD also names his top 10 players and fittingly enough, the interview was taped right after Anthony Davis’ hit a game-winner against the Thunder. Durant talks about the toughest players for him to guard and his lists might be surprising. He also talks about his injury and how much it affected his career but he also talks about how he does everything ‘for the love’.
He says he would love to stay with one team his entire career but he also says he doesn’t know what his future holds. The way he gushes about the city of Oklahoma and the people, it makes you think he really enjoys it and believes it to be home for him.
Durant also records in his spare time as well and I mean why not? He’s KD, let him do what he wants. Durant also discusses the music world and how that ties into sports and what the music world might hold for his future.
Overall, this interview gives us a nice behind-the-scenes look at Durant, his awesome home, his upbringing and how he really feels about some sensitive topics.
