The Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics are in the middle of a heated second round series. Through the first two games, the Celtics have shown they were in command with Isaiah Thomas taking over both games including a game two 53 point performance.
But amid all the scoring from IT and fancy play from John Wall, the two teams have also exchanged words and some shoves. But following the game two overtime loss, Wizards forward Markieff Morris called out his team and said they need to play tougher. Well, Morris got his wish in game three thanks to young forward Kelly Oubre Jr and his shove.
The two teams chopped it up early in the game and were exchanging words. This was the second questionable screen from Olynyk and the Celtics big man paid for it. Kelly Oubre was sick of it and charged at Olynyk, knocking him down.
It’s unclear at this point what might happen to Oubre or Olynyk but he did strike another player and seems to bump into a referee also. A suspension could be coming for the reserve wingman and if that’s the case, the Wizards could be without a somewhat important piece to their rotation.
