The Toronto Raptors came into their matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves riding the highest of highs this season winning 15 of their 18 games since the start of the new year and in their last game before the All-Star break, the Raps thought they had an easy contest against the lowly T-Wolves.
Little did the Raptors know, the Timberwolves would give them their toughest matchup to end their pre-All-Star road trip.
Karl-Anthony Towns exploded for a career-high 35 points and grabbed 11 rebounds on a night that he put the whole city of Toronto on notice for what he might be bringing to the Six for All-Star Weekend in just a few days.
Towns is slated to compete in the 2016 Rising Stars Challenge along fellow Timberwolves stars Zach LaVine and Andrew Wiggins and Towns will also compete in the 2016 Skills Challenge.
