Josh Richardson is not a household name by any means, but he may have just introduced himself to the league in a big way. The Miami Heat shooting guard announced his presence with a blow-by and monster dunk on Milwaukee Bucks big-man Greg Monroe.
The massive slam was indicative of Richardson’s game as a whole. The backup guard finished the game with 14 points and two assists, rebounds, and steals. The rookie has not had much of an impact in Miami, but games like this show some potential for a role in the Heat rotation.
Unfortunately for the Heat, Richardson’s dunk was not enough as they fell to the Bucks by a score of 114-108.
