In the Wizards 108-99 win over the Eastern Conference leading Atlanta Hawks, John wall recorded 2 steals, one of which lead to this monster dunk with nobody in sight. Wall’s ability to make huge dunks really get the crowd into games, and led him to the Sprite Slam Dunk title he won back in the 2013-2014 season.
This play really defines John Wall as both an athlete and an energy player as he knew he could come up with the steal, and hustled towards the ball so he could make a play. Energy coming from Wall really sparks his team, and gets them fighting for games against some of the best teams in the league.
If Wall can dunk like this in-game without any time to think about what he is going to do in air, imagine what he would be able to do if he attempted to go after another slam dunk championship. It may not longer be named the Sprite Slam Dunk contest, but Wall still has the hops to win whatever it will be called next year.
