After Paul Pierce “called game” and hit a bank shot from the free throw line to give the Wizards a 2-1 series lead over the Atlanta Hawks, John Wall stormed the court to celebrate with the rest of his teammates. Wall spent a bulk of the game screaming instructions and encouragement to his teammates even though he was scratched from the lineup after finding out he had 5 fractures in his wrist. Even with the bad news, Wall still was celebrating with his teammates like he was still a little kid.
Wall is still waiting to see if he will be available for Game 4 at Verizon Center when the Wizards look to take a 3-1 series lead over Atlanta. If Wall is available, the Wizards know he still has his speed, which was shown as he was one of the first to greet Pierce after the shot fell. On a more serious note, let’s hope he has a speedy recovery and is able to return to the court as soon as possible.
