On defense, Wall defends both George Hill and David West on the ball screen with a perfect read to pick off Hill’s pass. Wall takes it at Wall speed to the other end and hits a trailing Bradley Beal with a behind-the-back pass for an easy dunk.
The Pacers won the game 99-95 in double overtime and at least for tonight, secured their positioning as the eight-seed. Wall and Beal need to be this dynamic and then some to get the Wizards over the hump this postseason.
