Fittingly on #ThrowbackThursday, that is a video of Boston Celtics great Antoine Walker and at the time of the video a member of the Heat, a man who made the floor shimmy a relevant thing.
Then, in last night’s Wizards 111-95 defeat of the Los Angeles Lakers, Wizards All-Star point guard, John Wall, dribbled up the court with a Wizards win already just about secure. The clock was winding down and Wall decided to chuck up a three point attempt with Kobe Bryant defending him and he drilled it. Not only did he drill it in kobe’s face, he got fouled by Bryant and proceeded to hit the floor shimmy to celebrate.
You have to applaud Kobe for offering to help up Wall at the end of the play though, Class act by Kobe.
