The Milwaukee Bucks were in desperation mode for a victory after starting a season with high expectations at 9-13. The Bucks got that victory, thanks in part to a clutch John Henson block.
With the Bucks up 90-88 against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night, Henson made a huge play to help his teammates by scampering across the lane and blocking Meyers Leonard’s attempt at a game-tying floater. He then recovered quickly enough to gather the ball before it went out of bounds, ensuring the Bucks would walk away with the victory.
With playoff expectations at a high, the Bucks really need to get on the right track. Perhaps winning a nail-biter on the back of one of their young players will be the stepping stone to get there.
