Although in defeat, Jimmy Butler put together one of the most complete games of his career against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night. Butler had 28 points and career-highs of 17 rebounds and 12 assists for the first triple-double of his career as the Bulls fell to the Pistons 94-90 at home.
At halftime, Butler had 12 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. He shot 10-for-25 from the field including just 1-of-7 from three and 7-for-8 at the free throw line. The Bulls have dropped three out of four against Detroit this season, but before this game the Pistons had lost 17 of the last 19 meetings.
