The Houston Rockets have been one of the more disappointing teams this season and the lackluster play this season starts from the top of their team to the bottom. When you look at why the Rockets are struggling, James Harden and Dwight Howard can be viewed as the main reasons why they struggle.
On a night that the Rockets lost Dwight Howard within the first minute of their game against the Detroit Pistons due to an injury, the Rockets immediately looked to their bearded star to carry them.
Harden snapped for the Rockets and dropped 33 points on 9-22 shooting including 3-7 from the three-point line and 12-12 from the free throw line but he also grabbed 17 rebounds and handed out 14 assists. The stellar performance from Harden wasn’t enough as the Rockets were handed a home loss by the Pistons 123-114.
