We have always been fans of a great ankle-breaking move on an NBA court, and yesterday when the Magic hosted the Boston Celtics in Orlando, point guard Jameer Nelson pulled off one of the most criminal acts of bodily harm on Boston captain Paul Pierce.
Pierce, no stranger to sometimes exaggerating contact, had no need to put his acting skills on display, falling as if he’d been shot at from somebody in the stands. As nasty as Nelson’s jab step/step back jumper was, he ended up missing a wide open shot from about 18-feet out.
