
J.R. Smith, sharpshooting wingman from the Cleveland Cavaliers, has been on fire as of late in the 2016 NBA playoffs. He’s been a member of the scorching hot Cleveland Cavaliers offense that has just decimated their Eastern Conference playoff opponents.
After a first round sweep of the Detroit Pistons and second round sweep of the Atlanta Hawks, all eyes are on the Cavaliers to not only dominate their Eastern Conference Finals opponent but also do some damage in the 2016 NBA Finals.
The Cavs have at least a week off before their next series so in the meantime we can enjoy some possible rumors about both LeBron James and J.R. Smith being added to the cast for Space Jam 2 and we can also look at Smith taking a trip down memory lane. J.R. has been all around the NBA landscape, from down south to Denver to New York and now in Cleveland, Smith has experienced highs and lows.
In a new installment of VICE Sport’s ‘Ride Along’ series, Smith talks about his tattoos, coming into the NBA with the New Orleans Hornets (now Pelicans), his emotions after the Knicks traded him away and what its like playing alongside Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James.
