It’s that time of year where everything in the Turner Sports/CBS family gets a little, confusing to some. Your regularly scheudle people and shows might not be exactly where the usually are.
For ‘Inside the NBA’, the crew for the night was NBATV host Matt Winer, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith and NBATV analyst, Steve Smith.
Ernie presumably had the night off but Charles Barkley was lucky enough to be on the broadcast team for the historic Kyrie Irving game. He was part of the crew calling the instant classic between the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs, which I’m sure he enjoyed.
The night got even better when there was a special segment that included a behind the scenes look at Craig Sager’s first game back last week. The segment showed everyone exactly what Sager did that whole day leading up to his big return for the Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Thunder game last week.
The show contained the usual staples of ‘Inside The NBA’ like ‘Shaqtin’ a Fool’ but ‘Ej’s Neato Stat of the Night’ was remixed a little bit with ‘Winer’s Neato Stat of the Night’.
The show will be off until Tuesday March 24th as the Turner family prepares for NCAA March Madness.
