Kemba Walker has quietly put together a very nice season. The Charlotte Hornets’ point guard has taken a huge step forward this season in helping lead his team to a solid half season. On Friday, the Hornets’ guard continued his rampage in leading the Hornets to a victory in overtime against the Orlando Magic.
Walker led the team by dropping points on 50% shooting while adding nine assists and seven rebounds. Walker also contributed on the defensive end with four steals. The Hornets used Walker’s great production to overcome a 19 point deficit and to break a 10-game road losing streak.
For Walker, the game was an extension of an impressive season. The point guard is averaging 20 points and five assists per game. Kemba has put together a great and much improved season and with his team winning a solid number of games, he could see himself in the All-Star game come February.
