Hassan Whiteside has been a pleasant surprise for the Miami Heat and teams around the NBA are taking notice. He’s played effieiently. Since the turn of the New Year, Whiteside has played 3 games averaging 22.0 per game on 76% shooting while averaging 11.7 points, 8 rebounds, 3.7 blocks per game coming off the Bench as Miami’s reserve center.
Now Whiteside is way younger than starting center Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen and he may sneak into the starting lineup soon, but Whiteside, while coming off the bench in last night’s Heat loss to the Blazers, threw down a nice alley-oop off the pass from Norris Cole.
Keep working hard young fella, the time will come!
