VIDEO: Hawks Set Franchise Record With 20 Made Threes Against Kings
The Atlanta Hawks bounced back from a loss to the Philadelphia 76ers with a 130-105 blowout win against the Sacramento Kings on Monday night. The Hawks came with a valiant response, making a franchise-record 20 three-pointers and becoming the first team to win 50 games in the NBA this season.
10 of the Hawks’ 20 makes came from Kyle Korver and DeMarre Carroll, along with three makes from Paul Millsap. The Hawks also had an incredible 42 assists on Monday night, the most of any team this season and the most for a Hawks team since 1993.
The Hawks are sticking to their guns and proving that they are still able to thrive in their collective, unselfish system. This group is now seven wins away from surpassing the Hawks franchise record in season wins, and that accolade is looking inevitable.
