The Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Miami Heat and the young squad from Wisconsin was looking to get a big home win to help their push for the playoffs but Dwyane Wade had other plans.
Early in the game, Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo stole the ball off an errant pass and took it down court, uncontested and just mystified the Milwaukee crowd. Giannis threw down a thunderous two-hand reverse slam. Later in the game, with the Bucks down two points, the young Bucks star had the ball in his hands and drove it right down the lane and put down a huge slam over Chris Bosh to tie the game at 101 with just under one minute remaining.
Giannis finished with the high point total for the game with 28 points but it was the veteran Dwyane Wade who ended up with the victory. Wade came up clutch right after Giannis’ dunk and put the game in favor of the Heat with a huge jumper over the Bucks defense and then a great defensive play to steal the ball from Giannis. But he wasn’t done yet, he hit the two free throws, then went down court and played some tight defense on Khris Middleton to prevent the Bucks from potentially sending the game to overtime.
