Indiana led for most of yesterday’s scrappy encounter with the L.A. Lakers at the Staples Center, but you knew at some point the Lakers would get it close at the business end of the game. Hill hit the game-winning shot with just 0.1 seconds remaining – after an aggressive drive to the right (the Lakers continue to struggle defending the pick-and-roll) and Hill got the soft bounce into the rim after a high-arc shot hit the glass.
‘It’s something you always dream about, to hit game-winners,” Hill said. ”So to do that and help this team win a game just makes it that much better.”
