Dwyane Wade is on a tear as of late.
Dwyane Wade is trying to will his team to the playoffs. His season averages (21.6 points, 5.2 assists, on 48 percent shooting) have been excellent, but over the last seven games he’s up to over 25 points per game.
Wade put 32 points on the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday, including 15 in the fourth quarter, including this go-ahead jumper out of the high pick-and-roll to put Miami up by two. Wade led the Heat to a 108-104 victory.
Wade’s former teammate apparently saw it coming from afar, via Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News:
LeBron James is in the Cavs locker room intently watching the Heat game. He called the Wade step back before it happened.
