The Golden State Warriors are just not the same without their top stars. Whether its Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson or Draymond Green, the Warriors just play different without one of them in the lineup.
For one reason or another, over the calendar year the Warriors have been without Curry, Thompson and even budding star Harrison Barnes for one reason or another. One consistent part of the Warriors success has been Draymond Green.
Green has been a key part to the Warriors successful season in 2014-15 which ended in an NBA championship and Green could be considered the most important member of the current historic Warriors run in 2015-16.
Last night, Green continued to show his importance to the team in the Warriors 111-101 win over the Charlotte Hornets when he put up his third straight triple-double. Green ended with 13 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists on the night and the scoring numbers might be mundane but he didn’t need to score a lot. Curry and Thompson combined for 61 points in the Dubs win so Green could just sit back, facilitate and clean up any of the Warriors mess
