Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks took on the Houston Rockets in game one of the opening round of the playoffs, and lost 108-118. Dirk was tied for the game high in points at 24 and he pulled down 8 rebounds in the loss and he shot well too, shooting 10-14 from the field in the game. He had a lot of turnovers though, coughing up the ball 6 times.
After the game, Dirk attended his normal press conference. He was clearly mad and took his frustrations out on the microphone that he thought was not working. Dirk was hitting the mic on everything, trying to get it to work. Well, unknown to the 13-time NBA All-Star, the mic was working just fine. Watch as he hits his mic all over the table and on his hand, getting very mad at it before he realized what’s going one.
