Rose turns nothing into something.
In one of those plays that only great players can make, Derrick Rose made turned what looked like a broken, complicated sequence into a lay up for his teammate.
Rose is doubled off of the ball screen and the Sixers do a nice job of forcing him out (or maybe Rose did a poor job of handling the defense, your call). Either way, Rose finds himself pushed back to the half court line. As an escape mechanism, Rose performs the cardinal sin of leaving his feet to buy some more time. With the slightest break down by the Sixers defensively and great awareness from Rose, he gets a zip pass in to Taj Gibson for a lay up.
