Dennis Schroder may be a star in the making, but he isn’t one quite yet for the Atlanta Hawks. For now, Dennis can only give us glimpses of the stardom that is likely to come, whether it be a game where he plays great, or simply one play where he makes a crazy shot.
Against the Brooklyn Nets in game 2 of their Eastern Conference first round matchup, Schroder surely gave us one of those plays. While taking the ball up the floor, he saw a lane straight to the hoop, and he turned on the jets and sprinted straight to the basket, and when he got there he made a “magical shot” in the words of the Hawks broadcast team to get the hoop and the harm.
