Despite all of the drama and rumors swirling around the Sacramento Kings and DeMarcus Cousins, the star center continues to impress. In Saturday’s 97-91 win against the Orlando Magic, Cousins continued his strong play to start the season. The much-maligned big man put up 29 points and 12 rebounds while adding six assists, four steals, and two blocks for good measure.
The Kings are looking to ride DeMarcus Cousins into the playoffs and so far, he has not disappointed. If they can keep him happy, the Kings will be in a position to succeed for several years. That, of course, depends on how the organization goes about its business. For now, Kings fans can be content watching one of the premier players in the league do his thing on a nightly basis.
