Kings’ DeMarcus Cousins and Celtics’ Kris Humphries have a pleasant exchange: Cousins says hello with an elbow that could’ve demolished Humphries’ face if landed. Lucky for Cousins, he wasn’t ejected and only hit with a technical, which is surprising considering how touchy the sport has been towards any aggression. Tensions were so bad that Celts’ coach Brad Stevens and Gerald Wallace were both ejected with 35 seconds left in the game.
This game was a complete mess, and I wish I could have been there to witness the madness.
Isiah Thomas led that way for the Kings with 21 points, 12 assists, and 4 rebounds. Surprisingly, Kris Humphries was Boston’s best player on the floor tonight — providing 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.
The Kings come away with the win, 105-98.
