Dante Exum decided to play for the Australian national team this summer to get some run in and come back better for the Utah Jazz. He might want to take that back. It seems as if Exum has injured his left knee during an exhibition game against Slovenia. Here is the video via Damir Radenovic:
@AndrewDBailey Dante Exum just went down with a left knee injury. Taken off court. But puts pressure on it and walks with some help.

Exum was the starting PG for the Jazz at the end of the season when they started to turn things around. The Jazz have a young core, who may be able to one day make it back to the NBA Playoffs, a familiar spot for the Jazz. The hopes are that Exum will be okay, but if he has to sit out for a bit of the season, this will be a big set back for the Jazz.
UPDATE:
The Jazz fear that Dante Exum has torn the ACL in his left knee. If his ACL is torn, Exum will likely miss most of next season.
From Jody Genessy of Deseret News:
Initial concern is that Dante Exum might have suffered a torn ACL in his left knee, per a source. Jazz will know more when he's evaluated.
