Craig Sager has been nothing short of inspirational in the past few years. The longtime NBA on TNT reporter has battled leukemia and despite dire news just a few months ago, he has continued to fight while working the sidelines.
Sager’s ongoing battle with Cancer has earned the support of thousands across the world, whether they are his colleagues, or fans of the game. He has inspired many by continuing to do the job he loves and doing it admirably while working hard to fight off what was declared as a fatal disease.
So it was no surprise that on Wednesday, the Chicago Cubs honored Craig Sager by having him throw out the ceremonious first pitch and lead the crowd in the singing of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.”

It is nothing short of tremendous to see Craig enjoying himself as he continues to fight for his life. We have all been inspired by his tenacity and his can-do attitude and seeing him showcase that across the country is amazing to see.
As always, our thoughts and prayers are with Craig Sager and his family as he continues to fight towards a full recovery.
