In the waning minutes of todays playoff game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers, Dez Bryant made possibly one of the greatest catches of all time…or did he? On a key fourth down from the thirty two and a half yard line, down 26-21, Jason Garret opted to go for it instead of kicking a field goal to bring his team with in three points of the lead. Dez Bryant appears to make a spectacular leaping catch over Green Bay corner Sam Shields to put Dallas in position to score the go ahead touchdown.
However after a challenge by Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy, the officials would go on to overturn the call giving Green Bay the ball. The officials cited that although Bryant possessed the ball he lost control on the way to the ground resulting in an incompletion. Green Bay would go on to run out the clock earing a win and a trip to the NFC championship game against the Seattle Seahawks. The only remaining questions are; did Jason Garret make the correct call on fourth down and did Dez make the catch?
